Vesna Tornjanski is a scholarly researcher, Program Manager / PMO Lead, and senior banking professional whose distinguished career reflects expertise developed across academic research, financial services, and emerging technologies, with a focus on human-centered innovation and societal well-being.
With more than 20 years of experience in banking, she specializes in Business Continuity Management (BCM), Project Management (PM), Business Process Management (BPM), and operational leadership.
Her rigorous academic background at the renowned Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade, Serbia, has equipped her with advanced research competencies, a forward-thinking and critical mindset, and the creativity and independence required to navigate complex academic and real-world challenges.
Currently, Vesna serves as an Independent Contractor in the role of Program Manager / PMO Lead with Ethos Artificial Intelligence GP SA, based in London, England, United Kingdom, and New York, NY, United States. In this role, she contributes her domain expertise to the evaluation and improvement of Generative AI and Large Language Model outputs for enterprise program management and executive communications. She applies her extensive experience in program governance, portfolio management, strategic planning, executive reporting, and organizational transformation to evaluate AI-generated business content and provide structured human feedback that supports the development of accurate, consistent, and business-relevant AI solutions.
Previously, she served as a Business Continuity Planning Expert in the banking sector in Serbia, leading Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) development and resilience initiatives aligned with ISO standards and regulatory requirements. Throughout her professional career, Vesna has successfully delivered more than 70 banking projects, including system integrations, process optimization programs, and large-scale transformation initiatives across banking operations and project environments.
Alongside her professional work, she has built a strong international academic profile, authoring and co-authoring more than 40 scientific papers, including publications indexed in Scopus and journals listed in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR). She is also an active peer reviewer, Editorial Board Member of Econophysics, Sociophysics & Other Multidisciplinary Sciences Journal (ESMSJ), and Honorary Research Fellow at INTI International University, Malaysia.
